The culprit? Cigarettes. I had to start smoking, otherwise the stress from my work would cause my mind to snap like a dry twig.

I'm not going to justify it - I know I'm killing myself, slowly. I can almost hear my lungs and heart cry. Sadly, my work necessitates that. :(

* Finally found a job

Now this is a peculiar thing, as first I was hired as an insurance salesman, but later transferred to the post of Insurance Agent Assistant... with the same paycheck.

My job? Basically, distribute brochures and get contancts for agents. It's a wonderful thing, indulging my almost obsessive tendency to make lists... but I still haven't shaken the anxiety that goes with your first job. It's a bit annoying, but I'm slowly gaining the ability to shut it off.

I love my workplace and workmates, though.

* Fallout 3 released

Don't even say it. I've been waiting a decade for THIS drivel? Horribly designed world (how can I suspend my belief if it doesn't make any sense internally? INCONSISTENCY), butchered SPECIAL, non-existent choices-and-consequences, no moral amiguity, tragic writing and main plot, simple quests... my only consolation is the awesome art direction (really retrofuturistic), some background lore (<3 Museum of Technology) and that it's a decent sight seeing simulator... long as you ignore internal inconsistencies and implausibility.

Meh, I want Van Buren. And while we're on that note, I also want immortality, eternal youth and a lifetime supply of ho's of both sexes.

* Furmeets

My lovely corner of existence has furmeets too! The guys are awesome (gals stay away), we drink every friday and make me appreciate the fact that I have a loving family with a safe financial situation.

Of course, there is some furry drama. But hey, isn't there drama everywhere?

* I Suck At Helping Distraught People

I'm caring and understanding generally, but in person, I always have trouble to support people. Don't ask me why, it's a kind of a mental blockade. Or maybe it's the cynic in me?

* Second Life

I've renewed my interest in Second Life, with help from a certain New York dragon... one I created (cue sinister laugh) by exposing him to my furfaggotry. Mmm, sweet smell of victory...

Anyways, Tagaziel Kiranov's the name. Look me up if you want a chat or just someone to flame.

* Gaming

I'm at the "Grandpa" stage right now. Seriously, WTF is it with the general dumbing down of games? I miss the 90s.

* Politics

God dammit, introduce Euro already. I hate depending on chance when planning any foreign purchases.

Is awesome. No, it's really, really awesome. Shakespeare with lions and a lifetime supply of awesome. It's like good wine, gets better with age.

Well, I am still alive and just recently had to solve a problem with an identity theft occuring on a Habbo hotel forum. Someone registered under my nickname, used my avatars, my work in an unrepresentative way AND used my personal details.

Fortunately, the admins were more than cooperative. I also tracked down his e-mail account, which is a rip-off my AIL handle, estabilished on Yahoo.com.

Wasteland {1988)

THE first post apocalyptic role playing game. Crude graphics, but immesurable depth... play it. Just, play.

Project Nomad (1993)

A little known space exploration game of truly epic proportions. Simply exploring the world and talking with thirteen different races was... mental pleasure at it's finest. I advise all players, furry and otherwise, to download and play it... it's a little hard to understand, but once you get it... there are few games that have such developed setting, plot and atmosphere.

Trivia: Phelonese... ah, Phelonese...

Command & Conquer: Tiberian Dawn (1995)

Ah, the classic... if there is someone who hasn't yet heard of this game... he should play it. Immediately. My reasons for loving it? Kane at his best.

Trivia: Did you know that there were at least two Temples of Nod erected during the First Tiberium War?

Command & Conquer: Red Alert (1996)

The prequel to Tiberian Dawn, and one of the darkest real time strategy games ever... new meaning to oppression and struggle.

Trivia: My Red Alert CDs are corrupted - the Allied CD has the GDI play disc burned on it...

Albion (1996)

What is Albion? Simple - a paradise world inhabited by the Iskai and Celtic humans. Why is it my favourite? Beauty, engaging storyline and setting, convincing characters, well developed setting (paralleling even Project Nomad's complexity)... another of the games that need to be.. experienced.

Archimedean Dynasty (1996)

Portraying the world after the apocalypse, Archimedean Dynasty features prominently my favourite element - water. Miles beneath the surface, Archimedean Dynasty shows a war that makes the environment boil, as we are thrust into the politics of warring powers as a new enemy looms on the horizon...

Trivia: I often played the game just to be able to experience deep sea diving...

Fallout: A Post Nuclear Role Playing Game (1997)

A game that changed my life forever and still plays animportant role. Intricate and mind-boggling settings, morally ambiguous plot, rich and detailed world (at least as rich and detailed as a wasteland can get)... you have to experience it.

Trivia: I have four copies of this game: one from a Cover CD, one in a DVD box from Fallout: Tactics, one eXtra Klasyka polish cinematic version and recently released full box edition.

Interstate '76 (1997)

A fantastic game set in an alternate 1976, the 'States in the wake of afull-scale Oil Crisis. And there you are, a vigilante defending law an order in the American Midwest. It's you, your armoured Plymouth Barracuda, turreted M134 Minigun and miles upon miles of endless roads... oddyssey perfected.

Trivia: I usually drive the car with the Interstate '76 music running... long live FUNK!

Half-Life (1998)

Those who played, know. Those who didn't, don't exist. As for those who don't know? One of the best science-fiction shooters in existence. Interesting premise, twisting plot and believeable surroundings...

Trivia: I want to see Half-Life remade.

System Shock 2 (1999)

A true horror... the essence of science fiction and terror are contained within this single game, along with perfectly executed voice overs, storyline and atmosphere... I have been taught a new meaning of fear.

Trivia: I refuse to play this game with headphones. Just, no.

Command & Conquer: Tiberian Sun (1999)

A world on the brink of destruction, where GDI and Nod clash once again in a battle of ideologies... with Anton Slavik and Kane spearhading the radical change... another fantastic role of Joe Kucan and possibly the best ceremony scene ever.

Trivia: I bought the game almost instantly after it was released in Poland :)

Homeworld (1999)

One of the most personal and dramatic games I've experienced, Homeworld is truly epic - with the destruction of Kharan, the Kushan, now on the verge of extinction, play va banque, in hopes of reaching Hiigara, their homeworld, against the wishes of the Taiidan Empire... this is one of the absolutely moving games. Those who witnessed the afternath of the destruction of Kharak and fought the Emperor know what I'm speaking of.

Trivia: I love the Karos Graveyard mission.

Deus Ex (2000)

This game has forever changed my rather extreme political views... suffice to say, I rethought my approach to politics and consider Paul Denton one of my idols :)

Trivia: Maggie Chow? I'd hit it.

Gothic (2001)

Ahh... Gothic... gritty hard fantasy setting featuring a convicted protagonist under the barrier, who becomes the harbinger of change, Gothic has taught me that indeed, fantasy worlds can be original and not cliche.

Trivia: I'm a complete Gothic geek...

Gothic II: Night of the Raven (2002)

A logical continuation of the previous game, complete with a fully fleshed out world, deep backstory and storyline as well as detailed graphics and a multitude of secrets... yes, this is a game to remember.

Trivia: Thorus is a tragic character...

Beyond Good & Evil (2003)

If there is a name for excellence, it is "BG&E". It's one of those flawless games, whose amazing setting and story remains with you forever. This is one game that cannot be put into words - you have to experience it.

Trivia: This is another game whose soundtrack I have on my HDD in it's entirety.

Half-Life 2 (2004)

One of the best games I've played in terms of atmosphere and narrative, not to mention character design, Half-Life 2 is a game that excels in these areas. It is a logical continuation of Half-Life and is extremely realistic - one example is the body armour of the Overwatch Troopers, which is extremely similiar to the Interceptor Body Armour of US Troopers - but the designer says he did not use it as reference... great minds indeed think alike :)

Trivia: I want an Overwatch body armour. Really.

Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic II (2005)

This game is absolutely THE best in all Star Wars media. Multi-layered plot, interesting and convincing characters, choice and consequence... this game is the example of how Star Wars SHOULD have been done - a truly fantastic experience. Not the "Ewok defeat Empire LOLKEWL" experience.

Trivia: Brianna is the reason I always choose to be a male Exile.

Gothic 3 (2006)

The newest game in the series is automatically my favourite due to it's immense roleplaying potential, fantastic storyline, detailed backstory and multiple, variable endings... yes, this is a fantastic game, especially when you approached it unhyped and turned a blind eye to bugs.

Trivia: I already overhauled Angar's appearance :)

Seeing as FurAffinity's cub porn subject is trendy, I think it's time to state my opinion about the subject.

I honestly don't care.

Okay, I do find art featuring cubs in *unnatural* situations (check books on how cubs grow up in the wild, that's natural) and babyfurs, diaperfurs etc. scare the holy bejesus out of me, I do the wise-man's thing and I don't come near it if possible. It's like with czernina, really. I don't like it, I don't cook it, I don't eat it/smell it/taste it, simply because I *hate* it.

The revival of these areas will be a costly venture, however with the income from newly incorporated lands it should remain relatively low, thanks to the combined effort of the Furdom Overwatch Command and Support, who tirelessly worked to preserve our ideals, life and fluff.

"Lo-lo-look at you, Hacker. A pa-pa-pathetic creature of meat and bone, panting and sweating as you ru-run through my corridors-s. H-h-how can you challenge a perfect, immortal machine?"

System Shock 2, 1999 sequel to the 1994 fantastic, immersive hard sci-fi action/adventure game hybrid, released by Irrational Games. It is a true continuation, dealing with the consequences of the Hacker's actions in 2072 aboard the Tri-Optimum Citadel Station.

The action takes place 42 years after the first System Shock, when the first faster-than-light starship, the Von Braun, is built and launched, by TriOptimum corporation. Piggybacked upon it is an UNN destroyer, Rickenbacker, with a compliment of 120 troops led by a military hero, Edward Bedford Diego, son of the infamous TriOp executive responsible for the Citadel incident. The protagonist is one of the soldiers of the UNN taskforce, belonging to one of it's three branches: Marines (combat arm), Navy (tech arm) or the OSA (psionic warfare). The game begins five months into the journey, adter something has gone wrong. Terribly wrong.

The game is exceptional, both in terms of level design, plot, as well as weaponry and equipment. But what really makes it outstanding is the immersion.

I wasn't playing the game. I was there.
I ran panicked through the corridors of the Von Braun.
I mercifully killed that hybrid with my Laser Rapier.
I was there, witnessing and piecing together the horror that came from Tau Ceti V.

Recommendations? Play it. It well deserves your time, attention and dedication. Like a good book.
